This policy explains what information Beartico LLC ("Beartico", "we", "us") collects through beartico.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Beartico LLC is a limited liability company organized in Washington State, USA.

The short version

• We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.
• We use it to reply to you and to run our business. We do not sell it.
• We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site. They set cookies. We do not use advertising tools.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

Information we collect

Information you send us. When you use the contact form, you give us your name, email address, message and, if you choose, your company name. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.

Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We do not use this information to identify you or build a profile of you.

Analytics and cookies. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors find and use this site, so we can improve it. When you visit, these tools set cookies and record things such as the pages you view, how long you stay, where you came from, your device, browser and approximate location, and your clicks, scrolls and mouse movements. Clarity uses this to build heatmaps and replays of visits. Clarity hides anything you type into the contact form, so your message and details are never sent to it. We have not turned on any advertising features in these tools. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are counted without analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

What we do not collect. This site does not use advertising tools and does not ask for payment details. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as health, financial or government ID data, so please do not send it to us.

How we use your information

• To read and reply to your message.
• To discuss and carry out business with you, such as a supplier or partnership inquiry.
• To keep normal business records.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. They handle information only as needed to provide their service to us.

• Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions on our behalf. Netlify checks form submissions for spam using Akismet. See Netlify's privacy statement.
• Google Analytics (Google) measures visits to this site, as described above. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) records how visitors use this site, as described above. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Our email provider stores the emails we send and receive.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

Buying products we sell

We sell through online marketplaces. When you buy through a marketplace, it handles your order, payment and delivery under its own privacy notice. We never receive your payment details. Marketplaces share only limited order information with sellers, and we use it only to fulfill and support your order.

How long we keep information

We keep messages and contact details for as long as we need them to deal with you and to keep business records. In most cases that is no longer than 3 years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

How we protect information

This site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our accounts is limited and protected. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete your information.

Email hello@beartico.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within 45 days. Some laws, such as those in California or the European Union, give you further rights, and we will honor them where they apply. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This site is meant for adults and businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
